try to pirate anything by native instruments they have decent shit. i bought this cheap USB guitar/bass interface that works decently well with any of their programs i'll have to look into it. i also need to pick up a USB mic as well, unless they have direct in USB's. not looking to spend a ton of money, and certainly am not planning on spending any money on the software haha.

i just spent 2 hours working on a project and the program unexpectedly quit. god damn. it was turning out quite nice. multilayered tracks. 2 tracks of rythem guitar, 1 track bass guitar, 1 track lead guitar. added some broad spectrum EQ touches, compressed it, had a nice wahwah sound on the lead as well. fuck my life.

word. i think mine was made by Behringer its the UCG102 or some shit. Was only 40 dollars, and came with three seperate guitar amp models you could test for 30 days each and a serial key so you could keep one of them. They were pretty sweet, had a built in tuner, tape deck, you could import songs off the computer and slow them down without changing the pitch making it easy to learn the hard to hear shit
